Martlets Put up Nine in Win

After spending a few minutes trying to throttle up to Marlet flight speed, the JV Girls took control of the sheet from about midway into the first period through the final horn. Abby Cirelli '27 started the scoring followed by Sofia Eleuteri '28 and Lucy Wainwright '25 to close out the first period. Taft made it interesting with an early goal but the final two frames would be all Westminster. Eleuteri found the net again at the beginning of the second period. Abigail Graham '27 and Liza Merrill '25 followed with ringers of their own. In the third, it was Cirelli again to kick things off. Aila Van Dolah '28 lit the lamp with a tenacious set of rebound shots. Graham closed out the scoring. Some more excellent playmaking and gritty stick work in the defensive zone characterized the victory.
